I am passionate about radio, broadcast news and international journalism. I'm particularly interested in the history of the BBC, particularly radio during World War 2 and the Corporation's network of Local Radio stations. At BEA I particularly enjoy comparing transatlantic practices in radio and TV news. As a practitioner I still produce factual radio, and carry out media training for national and international broadcasters.
